BMW SERVICE CENTER IN FORT COLLINS, CO
Known as a driver’s cars, BMW is one of the cornerstones of the European car market. Not only do they have great road handling characteristics, they also have classic looks, durability, and great fit and finish. And if the standard line of cars isn’t enough, the M cars take your driving experience to a whole other level.
We have years of experience working on BMW Repair, from the 3, 5, and 7 Series coupes and sedans to the X1, X3, X5, and X6 SUVs, we service them all. And being in Colorado, we see a lot of the Xi drive all-wheel drive models, as well.
Many people were first introduced to BMW in the early days with the E21 2002 chassis and the classic E30 which brought us the first M3. The third generation brought us the modern classic, the E36, that so many of us drove and made memories in. The fourth generation, the E46, may be considered the best and by some purists the last true one due to later models moving away from the naturally aspirated inline 6-cylinder engine that BMW is known for. The fifth generation brought us the E90 introducing a turbo inline 6-cylinder engine and the glorious sounds of the high-revving V8 in the M3. This trend has continued into the sixth and current seventh generation cars. With the restrictions on emissions and growing efficiency concerns, we have lost the V8 in favor of the turbo 4-cylinder and turbo 6-cylinder engines that are now in most models.
WE FIX IT ALL
Some common issues we see with these cars as they age is that the plastic components in the cooling system fail. The radiator end tanks and expansion tanks are known for cracking causing a coolant leak that should be taken care of quickly before the engine overheats. Oil leaks are also a common issue as these vehicles get into higher mileage. From oil pan gaskets to oil filter housings, we can help you out with any repair on your BMW. When maintained regularly, these vehicles will live a long service life and provide you with many years of driving enjoyment.
